In a 'shocking' move, the Pirates traded Vargas to the D-Backs for 'cash' considerations.



Vargas appears to be one of the many players that it will be difficult to remember as ever having donned a Pirate uniform this season. It's only the beginning of June and the number of transactions (of little import) have been dizzying.



Hoping that the Bucs picked up at least enough cash to buy a sandwich or two for the buffet spread.

Vargas certainly distinguished himself in a Pirate Uniform

If BC can pay for his draft in part with moves like these good going. Pipe dreaming here but it might be the kind of move that gets BOB to spring for free sunflower seeds and bubble gum.
