Tonight's Game

I just took a look at the Pirate's Official Site to see the line-up for tonight's game. If there were any questions about Shelton being an astute manager in the past, I believe they have all been answered in tonight's line-up.

While few could question keeping Frazier and Hayes at the top, Polanco is batting 3rd, Gamel is batting 5th, and Perez 6th. Reynolds is nowhere to be found in the line-up.

I know that there are only a handful of decent hitters on the roster, but with Moran out of the line-up, there is no excuse to sit Reynolds and to elevate Polanco to #3. Then again, why should I really care.

There's no way that can be justified.  It's a fair question to ask if they're trying not to win.
