JHC - what is it with Shelton and his man-love for Tom?  I'd rather play with an 8 man lineup without Tom.  I guess Shelty wants a stronger bench with Evans, Gonzales, and Gamel on it.   >:( >:( >:( >:(

You might be on to something. For as good of a LF that Reynolds plays, he's not shown the same ability in CF. So he can just kind of cover both, and I don't think we'd miss much defensively.

As long as he gets to hit twice, of course.

Heading down soon, hope we bring back a winner! Ten in a row is plenty bad, but 11 is stranger things all together.

An unenviable position to be in: our GDTs > our GDs. :(

It’s very sportsman-like of the Pirates to give other teams a fighting chance by batting only five hitters most nights.

I just don't get it either. Gamel should be in LF on a daily basis

The Pirates are the front runners for this year's Congeniality Award.

Absolutely nonsensical Gamel went 3 for 4 one night and the next night he's on the bench.  Tom hasn't had 3 hits in 15 games.  What is going on with this manager, seems he wants to lose or he's just stupid.  I kinda think it's the later.
