Polanco holding anderson to a single saves a run for now. Poor base running by Lamb to not keep going for second base helps the Pirates cause too.

Outstanding play
As usual, he ran right to the wall for a ball over his head. Those usually ricochet over his head and back toward the infield. He finally had one bounce into his hand today.

and Grandal burns them again. 2 run double wipes out all of Polanco's good defense.



Shelton two games in a row gives a vote of confidence, and it burns him.



I'm okay with last night. Today, DeJong was well past his longest outing. Probably should have pulled him. I'll live with the decision though
