Same drill as yesterday, I will be heading out to the game, so if it gets near game time and I haven't posted the lineups, please help me out.



Megill made the start in the nightcap of the DH on July 9 against the Pirates. He threw 85 pitches in 3.2 IP and surrendered 1ER in the Mets 4-2 victory.



Crowe's last start was July 7 against Atlanta, exiting with 2 out in the top of the 5th allowing 2 ER, and the Pirates leading 3-2, after throwing 97 pitches. The Pirates bullpen would eventually implode in a 14-3 loss. John Nogowski, however, was perfect in one inning of relief.

Hopefully, they dump Pooplanco at the deadline.

Polanco has 2 weeks to impress another team. He'll probably start every game until the TDL in hopes of having a 2 homer game and raising his BA to .200.



He's still owed about 44% of his 2021 salary of 11.6 million. So that's about 5.1 million. Plus his 3 million buyout in 2022 to make him go away. The only way another team will take him off the Pirates hands is if the Pirates give them good players as a bribe. Like the Liriano deal. So I hope they don't trade him because I don't want them losing additional players in that deal.
