7th Round: Wyatt Hendrie for $177,500 ($67,400 under slot)

9th Round: Luke Brown for $72,500 ($89,500 under slot)

10 Round: Justin Meis for $127,500 ($22,000 under slot)



8th Round: Sean Sullivan also signed, but no word on amount yet, at least that I've seen anywhere.



Total under slot savings so far: $486,800



I'm liking our chances to sign the top four picks. Hopefully even make a run at Bishop.

They only gave the 6th round pick $7500 . That`s insane. But the other guys drafted lower made much more. I dont understand that. :-X I would fire my agent.

After the agent gets his cut, and you move to florida ,the poor guy will have to get a job so he can afford to play baseball.

Word on the street is that the Pirates have a deal in place with Henry Davis and have signed 5th rounder Jackson Glenn. Twitter is announcing that the Davis signing will be announced tomorrow.

There has been some reporting that there is a deal in place with Solometo too that will be announced Monday pending a physical tomorrow. No details on bonus. And less specifics, but there may be one with White too for $1M over from a different source.

Signing is official and is close to 2 million dollars under slot. Extra money to spend on the other quality picks.

Have saved $2,402,100 against slot values so far. Looking good to sign the next big three, and hopefully Bishop.

This stuff is great but I try to remind myself how I got sucked in to the whole draft/signing process when the media lauded NH with the crafty way he maneuvered the draft till the slotting was instituted. As tjat turned out nothing much came of that. So I will just hope these guys keep doing well.
