Well, Shelty does it again, Perez catching against a lefty, and of course, he still needs to see if a quality ballplayer like Pooplanco is worth keeping around :D :D :D Thank goodness I will be in bed while the Dodgers sweep the series.

Since July 17 the most frequent starts by Pirates are Reynolds-28, Hayes-27 and Polanco-26. Two players who prominently figure in the team's future and one who will be gone next year.

I’ve concluded that BC has ordered Shelton to play Polanco to increase the team’s chances of losing so as to better the chances of getting the #1 draft pick again.  Seriously, what else could be the reason?

He needs to be shut down for the remainder of the season. If he starts off poor in 2022 it will be time to release him.

Brubaker needs to give up 1 more HR to tie for the NL lead. I'm confident he can do it!
