The most amazing stat of all is how in the world this team has been in position to sweep 14 series. This team is so wretched that doesn't even make sense.

My guess is that he is only expected to pitch an inning or two as he has not pitched many innings this season and most of his appearances have been in relief.

Historically he hasn't even pitched many innings in the minors. I guess he has been injury prone. I know he has already had TJ surgery.

These games are referred to as Business-Man's Specials. From what I see, all the businessmen must be working

Early on, Park seemed like a good pickup. As of now, seems like another failure

Overton had 21 starts in AAA Buffalo this year with really solid numbers. Given BC's history with Toronto, he obviously knows something about what he got. Overton does seem to have a nice mix of pitches - and a nasty change up, that's for sure.

he was in 21 games at Buffalo, 7 starts 57 innings. Also I don't think he was in Toronto organization when BC was there. He was with the Giants through 2019. Still he had a great start today.
