Race For #1 2022 Draft Choice

We are at the part of the season in which most teams have about 43 games remaining. Currently the Pirates have the third worst record in baseball. I took a quick glance at who the D Backs and Orioles play the reminder of the season. When looking at their schedules, I paid most attention to teams they must play which are in their respective league playoff hunts.
The D Backs play the following teams:
Phils 7
Padres3
Dodgers 6
Giants 3
Braves 4
Total 23
Baltimore plays the following
Tampa 6
Braves 3
Blue Jays 10
Yanks 6
Red Sox 6
Phils 3
Total 34
At this time it appears that the Orioles have the toughest schedule between those two teams. My guess is the Bucs maybe fighting for the second pick in the draft.

You can't ignore Texas. We're sort of tied with them. They have one more game than we do but could easily lose that, leaving us tied at that three-four spot.

I'm not so worried about getting the #1 pick in 2022. All I want is for BC to draft as wisely as he did this year.

Good point. If they draft like they did this year, they should be rated the best minor league system in baseball. They would have a excellent pipeline to the Majors.

Getting to play the Dbacks 7 times could be a plus for the Phillies

No doubt. Now if the Dbacks disliked the Phillies as much as I do, they will beat them 4 times and help out the Bucs.

Pirates are 1/2 game behind Rangers.
They are 2 games ahead of the D Backs
They are 4 games ahead of the O’s (is that right? O’s have 2 games in hand).
A month ago the DBacks looked to be impossibly bad; it is remarkable they are fighting back.
