Just saw they traded Winker, and Suarez to Seattle. They traded Gray a couple days ago as well. At this point I think the Pirates may be able to jump them this season in the standings. In my opinion their team is much weaker going into this season.

It sounds like their owner called Nutting for advice.

I am not a fan of the Reds, but I thought they had a nice nucleus on their team. They also traded Barnhart who was their #1 catcher.

HAHA! Bob would tell them that spending all that money with the off-chance of winning is folly. No, it’s best just to put that money aside until everyone forgets about it and then make a nice deposit in the bank.

I have no idea what they're doing. If I was to guess, from a distance, it looks like they're following the principle that "Being In The Middle Is No Place To Be."



Maybe they're thinking that they're not going to be good enough to go far enough into the season or PS play.....



There's still some time and some available players. but this certainly captures attention.



We have our own issues. I don't wish ill on the Reds or any team. It looks to me that we have some question marks in a once much better division. These things run in cycles.

What I found strange is that the Twins traded their first round draft pick ( 21st overall) without seeing him throw one pitch in a minor league game.

Not I. I'm a Pirates fan. I feel sorry for no one but us. If we would trade for him, I'd feel sorry for him, but I think that I have a better chance of getting pregnant.
