Counsell isn't leaving the relievers in for long, but the Pirates have really racked up their pitch counts no matter how long they were in.

The gate is going to be what ever they had for last night anyhow, so the attendance could end up being way higher than what you're seeing

Man I was hoping Castro would beat that out, after smoking everything the entire game, to get an infield hit on a dribbler out in front of the plate would have just been gravy

It is so hard to believe where this game stands right now with how it started off. Lead off HR. Brewers hitting everything hard. Anderson struck out the side in the bottom of the first.

Then a 3-0 lead. Looked like another beat down coming. Then surprisingly, Bucs make it 4-3. But Brew Crew ties it right back up, and you just had that feeling we'd be saying, "Well, at least we scored some runs".

So many things went their way today, but most of all, they were hitting the ball hard. They said the Pirates have the second lowest exit velocity average something like 86.4 and when they had made that point, the average today was close to 95.

Mears pitches where he should be pitching, with an 8 run cushion, gets an out on a near HR, and a couple lazy fly outs to Reynolds
