Looking for confirmation, but it appears Braylon Bishop will sign with the Pirates for just over $250,000. He was drafted 14th and was an Arkansas commit.
Whether or not Cherington gets Kellington to sign, which looks very likely, he's a frickin' magician.

I just read a while ago that Kellington and the Pirates agreed before the draft. Kellington was quoted to say something like "we have to wait a few days to make official ." Seemed like a good source but I can't remember where I saw it. If what you saw and what I saw are true , that means he swept the board .

Without doing the math, if that’s true about Bishop, my guess is they need Kellington to sign, and for under slot so they don’t lose his pool money.

Braylon Bishop and his family are in Pittsburgh this morning, and he is widely expected to sign on the dotted line. Whatever pool money is left after that -- I'm seeing Bishop between $250,000 and $300,000, so not sure of the math -- will presumably go to Kellington.
Cherington has (likely) accumulated five top-100 players in this draft. Five.

I think they have about $170k left for over slot spending assuming Kellington signs. If he doesn’t, that drops to ~$141k. So, they can safely sign Bishop for $266k regardless of Kellington. If they get Kellington at/under slot, Bishop can get $295k (or more).
