Not sure about whining but the Pirates keep doing their best to quit winning.

Better find a comfortable rock. You could have a long stay.

I am sure I am going to get negative responses to this, but I think the Pirates should approach David Peralta’s agent with a proposal. He is still a fee agent, yes he is not the big hitter we all want, but I think he is a player a winning team needs. He could platoon with Pham, DH when Cutch is not in the lineup. Yes, he is another older player who is past his prime, but if ownership is too cheap to spend on a big hitter, why not pursue a player who plays a few times during the week and has that winning attitude. Some will say how about Suwinski or Palacios, and they could be right, but neither of them has the past winning experience as does Peralta.

I could see that if they hadn't already signed Pham. It's unlikely they would carry two 37-year-old part=time OFers.fjk090852-7 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:44 pm I am sure I am going to get negative responses to this, but I think the Pirates should approach David Peralta’s agent with a proposal. I fear that Frazier will become the starting second baseman leaving Gonzalez to play “here and there” as Shelton loves to do with young guys. You know, so they can’t get in any type of rhythm

If Gonzales has a good ST he will be the starting second baseman on Opening Day. Also Nick Yorke will have something to say about who starts at second base. I believe Frazier will be the utility guy along with Triolo.icantwatch2 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 11:31 pm I fear that Frazier will become the starting second baseman leaving Gonzalez to play “here and there” as Shelton loves to do with young guys.
