I know you don't follow NFL but I run a season prediction poll on a Steeler website. I reached 55 participants this season and they are dropping like flies from the top.

Possum guessed 699 runs. Osushawn guessed 700 runs. The Pirates have scored 576 runs. If they score 123 or less runs in the next 2 games, Possum will win the tiebreaker. If they score 124 or more runs over the remaining 2 games, Osushawn will win the tiebreaker.

I know it's meaningless but I don't want to lose 100 games. Pulling hard for the boys to win out. Also don't want last place.



Don't feel like checking but I think we just had two sweeps this season. Dodgers and Reds.

Unfortunately, I will get a bill from BOB for the salary of my sedan chair carriers.

Mind boggling the team scored 28 fewer runs this season from 2021. They hit 34 more HR's this year than last season, 18th in MLB as opposed to dead last in 2021. They were 7th in triples this season, a bit of a drop from 3rd in 2021. But they were 29th in doubles, dropping from 23rd the previous year. The were 29th in total hits this year, 24th the year before.



So we wanted to see more power, but the problem was we just didn't get guys on base enough. I still can't find stats for batting with RISP, but I'm guessing we were at the bottom there too.



Yep, have to scratch your head that they were WORSE offensively in runs scored, with a DH for 162 games. It wasn't supposed to work that way.
