okay, rules brief me.

relievers have to face 3 batters, but is the rule still in place they don't have to if they finish an inning? I thought that changed.

You only get credit if you answer before the commercials end

The reliever must face at least 3 batters in an inning or else end an inning. If he ends the inning, there is no requirement to begin the next inning to face 3 batters.
