Nick gets a lot of ladies. I bet he`s been distracted and just now got things right. The female interviewer is drooling.

Hernandez grounds out. Great job by Bednar in the 9th. Bucs win the game and the series. How about a sweep tomorrow?
Skenes gutted through five innings without his best stuff.
The bullpen did a good enough job when it looked like the Dodgers were going to come back.
Gonzales continues to rack up the hits. If he keeps this up, they need to consider moving him to the three hole.
Oliveras is contributing nicely. He deserves to play everyday until he proves he shouldn’t.
Get Henry back behind the plate as the starter five/six days a week.
And for God’s sake, go get a power hitter somehow.

Raise IT!! Just caught the last two innings. Looking for a
sweep tomorrow. Reds swept the Dodgers in a three game series
earlier in the season.

Bucs down in order in the 8th, still lead 10-6. Is it enough?
Kind of sad we think that way but I understand.

I was listening to sports talk this morning and they had some sound bites with Skenes. I got the impression that he was not happy about his game last night but he did not make any excuses. I think he is like Bob Gibson. He will fight the good fight and do the best he can. By the way, Gibson is a HOFer.

All those Ks drive up Skenes' pitch count even though he rarely walks anyone and doesn't give up many hits. His ratio of balls to strikes is consistently good but he hasn't gone past 6 innings and his pitch count (other than his debut game) has always been between 93 and 100.
