Perz strikes out looking. Have to swing the bat. Shelton got ejected. One inning too late ump.

Gonzalez strikes out. Chance to get back in the game and one guy wont swing at anything close and the next guy swings at everything that isnt.

Bucs get a run. Now it's time for another weak grounder or lazy fly ball from Craig.

You guys are looking at Shelton all wrong. His job is to get Cherington as good a draft position next year as he can, not manage like any of this matters. He's a "tank" commander, and his job is to get that turret turned around into the shape of a "U" without too many people noticing. I think he's doing a brilliant job in that respect.

Craig walks! So much better than having him swing the bat.

I'm surprised he knows where first base is.

McClendon at least had passion

Russell had neither passion or baseball acumen

In fact I always referred to him as a zombie. The walking dead

Definitely the worst Pirate Manager in recent memory

Sheldon has a pulse but is right there with Russell as far as baseball acumen.

The team sucks but they never should have fired Hurdle

I know that most on this board wanted a change, but change doesn’t always mean success

Hurdle grew and mentored the last crop of Pirate prospects

I think Hurdle could have done it again in the nextv2-3 years

Nobody can expect any any success with this roster

Better that they tank again and get back to back #1’s
