Alford is 10 for his last 30 (.333) including 3 HRs (and robbed of a 4th last night). His 2 hits last night will surely earn him a seat on the bench tonight.

Tsutsugo is hitting .289 since joining the Pirates.

Cole Tucker had a hit and a sac fly last night but it was only the first game he appeared in since getting 1 AB last Sunday and his first start since last Saturday. The Pirates are using these final weeks of the season to look at players for next year and Tucker barely got looked at for an entire week. Since his recall in late August he has started 12 games and has slashed .174/.235/.217/.453. I believe they've seen all they need to see of him. They can use his roster spot to add a prospect to the 40 man roster next year prior to the rule 5 draft.

Tucker hit the ball pretty hard all four times last night.
