My vote is for Shelton tonight. Reynolds leading off and Gonzalez hitting third.

My vote for GOG goes to Cherington. This may be the worst job of General Managing that I have seen.

The current count is:

Cherington - 1

how would you like to be a Pirate season ticket salesman for 2021?

Talk about a tough sale.

Come on, Shed. DO something!

When will you begin positing the Littlefield/Huntington/Cherington track record comparisons?

Cheapness. Incompetence.

We can't fault Ben Littleton for the cheapness. That's not his doing.

But, when it comes to "incompetence," we Pirates fans surely have experienced it. This guy is in historical levels of baseball incompetence. He can't keep living off his past forever.

Goat of the SEASON, let alone merely this one game goes to this Cherington guy. What a flat out major disappointment.

A salesperson knows his audience, and Pirates season ticket salespeople's audience is Yinzers.

Sell Yinzers on "scrappy, young guys" and they eat it up.

Now, selling real estate to any Pirates player?  That's a much harder job.  They'd rather rent month-to-month, for some strange reason.

I'm gonna go with Joe Block.

His incessant droning created negative vibes that impacted the ability of this great Cherington roster and great Shelton lineup to perform like major leagers.

I think we can rule that theory out.  To be radio-active, it has to be....active.  When it comes to being active, let's just say than Ben is a little weak in that area.  :(((

I'm starting to think that BOB didn't spring for The Ben Cherington. Must've settled for a cardboard Ben Cherington.
