Cherington is merely being a responsible person and social distancing himself from all players, their agents and other GMs.

Time to go after a Braves pitching prospect , they seem to be loaded with young arms , but keep signing vets.

We need to break in some young starters next season, so In 3 years they will be ready for championship run. :-?

Ground Chuck signs for 15 million. I give them a 3. His fortunes certainly have improved since leaving Pittsburgh. Good for him!

And the cry goes out for BC to make a move and he does.

Pirates claim a RH pitcher from the Rockies, Ashton Goudeau, who is 28 years old, and decide to release Will Craig.

Unfortunately, another 1st round draft choice has not demonstrated the ability to have a MLB career in Pittsburgh. Goudeau has AA experience as a starter, so perhaps he is depth for the team.

They must see something in Goudeau, because looking at his minor league stats they are not very impressive. Hate to see Craig go because he did not have very much big league playing time to prove if he was a valuable player.
