Chapman makes it more interesting than it needed to be but gets the final out. Wonder why he was used instead of Bednar. Bucs bounce back after a bad game last night. Good job by Jones and a good job by the hitters to bunch their few hits together.

Concerning not using Bednar. Maybe it's a little strategy change.
Lets say Bednar pitched today- the usual 7-8-9
If all three were needed tomorrow, they wouldn't be able to go in Cincy
Just a thought. But what the hell do I know. I was just a dumb Catcher

They better do a good job of bunching their hits together. They only had 5 again. That's a total of 13 in the last three games. Good God!!!

If that’s their strategy, I’m not in agreement. I always thought you tried to win the game you’re playing and worry about tomorrow’s game tomorrow. But what the hell do I know. I was just dumb.

That’s how the Pirates have to win games. It’s like the Dodgers back in the ‘60s when Koufax, Drysdale, and Osteen would give up one run while the hitters would scratch and claw to score two.

First game of the year! I was shocked Jones made it to the second inning let alone put together a good outing.
