Thanks for update on the former Bucs playing overseas. Especially interested in Garret Jones. Looks like he may be back to Yomimuri next season.

Zach Duke had Tommy John surgery last week. Amazingly, he's still only 33 and has $5.5 million guaranteed coming in next year.

And Cole won't sign an extension? Dumb.

Brad Eldred hit .294 with 21 homers for Hiroshima;

The Carp are currently trailing the Japan Series, 3-2, with Game Six set for around 2 am Saturday ET. Eldred is kicking behinds and taking names for the Carp: 7 for 18 with 3 homers. Johnson won Game 1 over Shohei Otani, and has given up just one run in 12 2/3 innings in two starts.

Rajai Davis! I really thought he was going to be the Series' hero after hitting that home run.

Raji Davis should hold his head high. He played well and left his heart on the field last night. And to think we traded him to SF for Matt Morris...GM Littlefield's move no less. Matt Morris was a gamer as a Redbird and burnt the Bucs big time...When he came to Pittsburgh he was on his last legs. Littlefield was

one of the worst GM's ever for our beloved Buccos!

I don't think it's even close he's the worst one I remember the last 55 years.
