Something has to change with Cole. Not sure if he just really doesn't want to be in Pittsburgh which is what it looked like to me out on the west cost trip. We can't make him pitch his best if he wants to be somewhere else. So the FO has to make that judgement. If he doesn't want to be here then trade him for top top top pitching prospects. We need more pitching so let's get some great ones in the pipeline and let Mr. Cole go somewhere where he can be happy.

Your last sentence actually sounds like an argument to trade Cole. If everybody wants him, that could set up quite the bidding war, especially in such a soft FA market for starting pitchers.
And weaken the Pirates in a soft free agent market. Cole would be in every other team's rotation. You don't trade those type of players: good, young, controlled.

He's been super frustrating the last month, but he's still GFC...lets see what happens Monday in CHI...last time he went to Wrigley, he dominated for 8 innings...
