Apparently he's looking at Seattle and San Francisco. Would the Giants be improved next year if they get both Ohtani and Stanton?

The rumor is that Stanton wants the Dodgers but the Dodgers fear the Luxery Tax.

I just hope he plans to use that International money to go after some prospects, either those Atlanta guys now freed up or some others. As I understand, they lose the right to spend it if they don't this year - it doesn't roll over year to year.

I think he needs to be honest with himself.

But, taking hm at his word, “everything possible” means being willing to pay the $20 million posting fee. So, I take that to mean that they just found an extra $20 million to spend this offseason. I mean, “everything possible” means they have it in the budget. It didn’t come to fruition. So, it’s not like that money vanished into thin air. ::)
