I think we may have an arm problem.  Control numbers are way off norms.  Maybe time to shut him down a while and regroup.    Not going good at all.

Ugh- hadn't thought of that. Let's hope he is just having a bad run and doesn't need TJ.

I'm not sure we can develop pitchers . Seems like they all have 2 good pitches without that needed quality 3rd pitch. Plus this idea of advocating pounding the zone with low fastballs plays right into the now popular hitting concept of a new launch angle where you need fastballs more up in the zone. I'm sick that Keller is doing this poorly at AAA.

He isn't ready for majors but could just be having some stretches were he gets off track. I felt better about Keller after reading this on Bucs dugout:

His problems at least were limited to one inning, the second, when he allowed four runs on three hits and two walks. He lasted six innings in all and in the other five innings gave up no runs on three hits and one walk, while striking out six. Still, anybody who thinks super two is the reason he’s not in the majors probably needs help.

Maybe it is good that Keller is struggling at AAA, because the way Glasnow flew through AAA we ( at least I did ) thought he was going to be a premier pitcher. Maybe it will click for him at Tampa, but it did not happen in Pittsburgh.
