Rich Rodriguez gave up a game tying homer in his Indy debut last night. Indy did win the game in the tenth inning.

Craig hit is 12th homer in today’s 8-7 Indy win. Also Kramer played left field, so the Pirates may be trying for him to become the utility player who plays several positions.

Craig hit his 14th homer, and drove in 3 runs in an Indy.11-5 victory today. I am not in favor for the DH in the National League, but I am not sure how the Bucs will use both Bell and Craig once he arrives in Pittsburgh.

It’s low A but Mason Martin in 48 games has 15 homers and 52 runs batted in. Even though it is low A , those stats are impressive.

He's also striking out at a 33%+ clip. The power is real, but contact issues could keep him from ever being a major league hitter.

Out of those Greensboro hitters that are putting up huge OPS numbers, Sanchez is the only one without strikeout issue. Though, if Castro can play SS, he could definitely move up the prospect ranking lists.

Bradenton lost 2-0 to Ft Myers.  He went 5 innings, 77 pitches and 44 for strikes.  Gave up 5 hits and both runs, K'd 3 walked 2.  Both teams got 6 hits but Bradenton could not push across any runs.  Not bad for his first start in High A.

PP2 named Economos the player of the week in the minors. He pitched twice going 7IP both times and giving up one run in each start. In the last start, the run was a HR to Didi Gregorius. It's just high A, but his dominance continues. They wrote in the article that his FB is right around 90-91. He uses a deceptive delivery, solid repertoire, and good command to be effective. I know the big FB is sexy in the MLB, but Tevor Williams (and Davies from Milwaukee yesterday) continue to prove that good pitching can get guys out. He will see how he keeps progressing.

He turns 24 this month, I'm not sure I'd consider him to have any ML potential.

if the Pirates think he has mlb potential he will get promoted to Altoona soon (no later than after minor league all star break).
