You guys are too negative - ESPN has the Pirates down for a potential record setting season - "The Pirates will have the worst winning percentage in modern baseball history." See their season predictions - https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/295 ... redictions

I love the caption under the photo of Newman being tagged out at 3B after foolishly trying to advance on a grounder to SS: "These days, you never know what you'll see when you tune in to a Pirates game -- and not in a good way."



I also like that the writer's comment, "I think Derek Shelton should be given a chance to stick around for a "real season" in 2021" suggests there is also a school of thought that maybe he shouldn't."

I don't think a real season in 2021 will be much better.
