Thank goodness Cherington didn't sit on his hands but, instead, improved the club by acquiring Bashlor. It was just so easy to make the team better.

So Tatis was lambasted about swinging on a 3-0 pitch and hitting a grand slam. Unwritten rule thing.

My thinking is, the pitcher just walked the freaking bases loaded, and was about to walk tatis. He was just tired of everyone standing around. I think there's another unwritten rule: MLB pitchers should be able to get the ball over the plate consistently.

Tatis is like me, he favors a faster paced game.

One thing we can all agree on and that's the amazing consistency shown by Gregory Polanco. Another hitless night. How much longer do we have to watch this?

It always amazes me how well the Pirates can make a productive out when they're losing by 6, but not by 1
