Agreed.  He’s not capable of playing in the major leagues, not even for the Pirates.

True. And a sad commentary on Tom. Maybe the Pirates should use signs similar to what Kennywood had when I was little that say "You must be this tall to play for the Pirates."  :D
It is beyond comprehension how Tom can be in a Major League lineup. It is an embarrassment. the bucs have to have someone in the minors who can hit 200.

It's also beyond comprehension that they recalled Oliva as he was hitting .167 in AAA and currently in a 2 for 23 (.087) slump. I realize it's because he's on the 40 man roster but what a sad state of affairs that that's the best they can do with minor leaguers who are on the 40 man roster.

It's the Pirates. That's all we need to comprehend.

Yep.  The Brewers are leading the Cubs and Cards.  Small market/ big market…the Brewers are competing.

Bob Nuttjng should be embarrassed every time the Brewers show up in the schedule.

I'm asking because I don't know, but does anyone have any idea if Nutting attends games, and how many during the course of a season?  If it were me, I'd be too embarrassed to be at the park.  But I don't think he cares one way or another as long as his business is in the black.

He might be fearing for his life!

If he does come to games, I can't see him engaging with the fans. He'd want no part of the potential confrontations, some of which might turn ugly.

That, to me, is a worse breach than the group they have playing on the big league roster now. To have so little talent waiting in the wings is inexcusable.

I don'y know why they didn't bring up Cole Tucker- He played some outfield last year. In think he could hit 200 :)
