Hayes. His triple was the key hit in the game. Drove in a run and scored a run.



Can't give it to Newman for his "clutch" bouncer back to the pitcher. :)

Newman would've been a candidate for GOG if they lost. He muffed a bouncer right to him with 2 outs in the 5th when it was 0-0. They somehow ruled it a single and a run scored and the next better hit a HR. Then he came up in the 9th with bases loaded and tapped back to the pitcher. He must be livin' right. (But he didn't get my vote.) :)

Going to go with Joe Musgrove for the 4 shutout innings. Newman had plusses and minuses. Bell would be my runner-up.
