We all know the Dodgers can use another "versatile option" with a solid track record. In the meantime, the Pirates versatile option is Alika Williams.

Nothing to do with the offseason, but thought I'd throw this out there for the uber BOB haters:

Tampa Bay Bucs already have the lead, just need to snap and take a knee, win the game, go to the playoffs. Only chance they can lose is by doing something crazy, like throwing an interception.

Mike Evans needs 5 receiving yards to tie Jerry Rice record with11 1,000 receiving yard seasons in a row. He also gets a 3 million dollar bonus if he reaches that level.

He's 5 yards short. The Bucs line up...and pass the ball to Williams, for 9 yards, tying the record, and getting the 3 million dollar bonus.

Mike Evans is the WR. Mike Williams is the former Pirates reliever.

So that’s how a real organization handles these things.

I remember when Moncada was about to explode onto the scene with the Red Sox, when he was thought to be a can't-miss superstar. And then they dealt him to the White Sox. Maybe Boston saw something others missed. He's been rather pedestrian in his time in Chicago, having had one good season before Covid and one that was so-so after that.
