Hayes just had a cramp in his thumb and it went up his forearm. Said if they had been on offense probably could have taken care of it and not missed a beat.

just got back home and see that Fletcher gave up two homers. This just after reading an article about him in the past couple days about his funky delivery to fool batters.

Didn't get to see the game after the 1st inning. Didn't miss much. Classic Pirates. Lose 9-0. A forfeit would have been easier. Hayes doesn't make it thru the 1st inning. Brubaker clobbered in just 3 innings. Underwood hurt after 1 batter. Pitchers walk 7 and give up 9 runs. Complete joke of a lineup by Shelton. Vogelbach 1st? Newman 5th? Did Park win the 2B job or was Shelton starting his utility guy to give someone else a much needed rest?
