I don't know the particulars but the Padres beat the Rockies 21-0
yesterday. To me, that's uncalled for. 21 runs, that's about 10 games
worth of work for the bucs

That was the 4th game in a row the Rockies gave up double digit runs as well. 79 in last 9 games!!!

I heard yesterday that no team that started the season 0-7 has ever made it to the postseason. That seems crazy what with 25 weeks to make up the deficit.

The 1974 Pirates started 0-6, fell to 14 under in June and were still 12 under in mid-July when they started grinding. They took the division with 88 wins.

With the Pirates now playing Donny Ball at a .667 pace, they'll end up the season with 94 wins!

Watched the Phillies and Guardians last night. Ortiz in
6 innings against a very potent lineup- 6 innings 1run
4 hits and 9K's. he was traded for a guy who has yet
to play in a game. I have just removed one of those
feathers from Cherington's hat.
