Whew! 5-0 Bucs and Perez is in it to win it. Bottom 5th.

Very Piratey inning for the Cardinals. Two walks, two singles, and no runs. They’re worse than we are.

Perez gets through six. He looked a bit shaky after Arenado clubbed a ball and then Goldschmidt doubled but he wiggled his way out of it. I’m guessing the bullpen will take over from here unless the Bucs add a couple of runs. Shelton might run him back out there for one more with a seven or eight run lead.

6 full. We up 5-0. Going for yet another 2 of 3.
Split with Mets. 2 of 3 since with a sweep in there.
Something fundamentally wrong with a Center Fielder hitting under .200. Worse when a pitcher walks him.

Nice job by Perez today, allowing no runs. He walked five but worked around them all.

Mason Winn is exasperating. All he does is hit little flares over the infield. He’s a real pain in the ass.

I think he is younger than any current Pirate too.

Okay, that was a little bit nerve-wracking with Arenado and Goldschmidt coming up, but no damage.
