Doesn't Holderman know that this is the 8th inning
and not the 9th?

Palacios never hit more than 9 HRs in a season in the minors. But now he has 10 HRs in 231 ABs this season for the Bucs. Looks like a keeper at least as 4th OFer.

Andujar and Palacios both deserve roster spots next year!!!!
I like Endy Rodriguez. Love his enthusiasm and his cannon arm. However he has been horrible offensively and terrible regarding passed balls. Where did his power go. He needs to go to the Arizona Fall League and rediscover his bat and glove

Just finished watching the replay, and wow, the 9th was something.

IDK where Reynolds brain is at, I find it hard to believe he couldn't read that hit by Hayes, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. You can't come to complete stop standing on the base, then take off, you have to keep momentum going.

IDK where Rabelo's brain is at, but he had to clearly see Reynolds was taking off from a complete stop, and it doesn't matter the throw didn't go where it should, it was still thrown well, and to a shortstop, and Reynolds never had a chance. Bad baserunning coupled with bad base coaching.

IDK where Hayes brain is at, because he also was pretty much flat footed watching the throw coming into home, and he wasn't that far from second, yet decided to go on the throw home. Luckily, IDK where Mastrobuoni's brain is at, but he bailed out all three of them by not executing a text book rundown, by not running at Hayes and instead throwing from a distance, and throwing it away.

Three major league players and one major league coach executed one play like little leaguers.
