Mlodzinski is quietly having an outstanding rookie season. He was the Pirates' 2nd pick in the 1st round (31st overall) in 2020 when they took Gonzales at #7 overall. His ERA is 2.03 and he's given up only 23 hits in 31 innings. Curiously, of the 12 runs he's given up, 5 were unearned. He hasn't exactly had the greatest defense behind him.
