Nice, thorough analysis of why Cutch is better in RF than CF. But that still leaves Polanco in LF. Polanco in LF scares me more than Cutch in LF.

I think part of the problem Cutch and Polanco were having in the outfield could be attributed to the wind gusts. It looked like people in the infield were having trouble all game.

Who is faster: McCutchen or Polanco?



Marte has to stay in CF. I was really surprised to how many more balls get hit to CF than LF. Polanco has the better arm than McCutchen and that is probably needed more in LF than in RF at PNC Park.



I don't really know the best alignment. Before the season, I preferred McCutchen in LF. To me, he seems to get to more balls than Polanco. You have to catch it before you can throw it.
