When Mercer doesn't play, the Pirates are 0-1.

You know, it also helps to have the flu and to be on some pretty stiff meds....

I really think the Bucs have a chance to sweep this series with the Reds the next two days looking st the pitching matchups and as good as this offense is swinging the bats right now and get to 8-1. Be nice to go into Wrigley for the Cubs home opener maybe 4 or 5 games up on the Cubs with a chance to pick up some more ground on them. Nobody ever would have saw that coming a few weeks back. Let’s hope that indeed is the case.
