You used the word "or". Does that mean you'd like to see only one of those guys extended?

Just saw Derek Jeter about his thoughts on a successful season. "The most over rated phrase is 'next year'. That's 12 months away, you only have so many years to play. The goal is to win the World Series every year. If you don't do that, you can't say you had a successful year."



That would have exploded some heads on the old site!

lol.....I think the fact he referred to that McKenry HR as "momentous" gives us a clue.



I'm actually wondering what Jeter says if the Marlins lose in 7 games in the WS. He may back off a bit on his comment.

Alvy would say that despite our 19-41 record, that Cherington was doing a wonderful job and the problem is with the Pittsburgh fans.
