Wow, Chavis let go. I'm somewhat surprised. I thought he was destined for a utility role next year. Allen leaving is a good thing.

Wow, Chavis let go.  I'm somewhat surprised.  I thought he was destined for a utility role next year.  Allen leaving is a good thing. 


He was destined for arbitration next year. That trumps usefulness in Nutting World.

Not sure where to put this question but here it is. I was looking at certain stats from All Time Pirate Pitchers. Wilber Copper had the most complete games with 263. My question is, who was the last Pirate Pitcher to pitch a complete game? Can't seem to find it

The best singer on the team -- Steven Brault. He went the distance in a 5-1 win over the Cardinals 9/17/20.

With the many several middle infielders they have, I wonder if this is the end of Newman’s Pirate career.
