Coors Field must be a very tough park to score runs in. The Pirates were shut out in 26 of 27 innings.  ::)

In the history of Coors Field, I wonder if so few runs were scored in a three games series before?  Or even a two game series?

Seems a lot of runs are being scored lately. Wonder if it has anything to do with the crackdown on pitchers

Poor defense. Poor pitching. Some good pitchers are out.

And one team lets runs in on rundowns.....that's not very good defense.

I think next year in ST the Pirates will work extensively on the 1B to home rundown. There's gotta be a way to chase that batter back to home plate with 2 out and get him out without allowing the run to score. There's just gotta be. And the Pirates are just the team to unlock that secret!

Who knows? Maybe they'll teach team unity by giving everybody calliope lessons, too.

BA is up by .007 since the crackdown.

I dont have my calculator with me. Sounds insignificant to me.

Even if not, that small of a difference won't generate many more runs without other things happening.

.007 would be enough to get Polanco over the Mendoza line! That .007 would help him Bond with his teammates.

Not sure how they're determined. My guess is that Seattle is either large- or mid- market. Bob will have it. ;)
