Jordan Luplow traded from Rays to Diamondbacks. For a team that just signed Wander Franco to the team vault, it's odd that MLB trade rumors say it was a financial decision for a guy making only 1.5 million.
Seems that's the theme of the day for that site, as they suggested the same for Frazier's trade to Seattle.

How do you make up for losing Steven Matz? If you're the Toronto Blue Jays, you go out and get Kevin Gausman. All it takes is $110 mil for five years.

Doc may have written too soon, perhaps thinking that the Rump Rangers would end right there. They don't. They're picking up Jon Gray for $56 mil over four years. That's OK. We have Jose Quintana.
