This team/franchise is so frustrating.
The Pirates would be 16-16 if ...
1. They didn't boot 2 groundballs and give up 3 unearned runs to the Tigers in a 3-2 loss.
2. They had gone just 3-2 vs. the Reds (instead of 1-4).
Folks that is a VERY LOW BAR to clear.
That's it. If they had just done those 2 things, they would be 16-16.
But this sorry team can't even clear THAT bar. As a result, they're 6 games under .500 and headed toward the basement.
