I was actually surprised to see Quintana out there for the 5th, especially supposedly being under the weather, not exactly fooling them, and after seeing Thompson yanked after only 60 some odd pitches yesterday.

Glad he got the 1-2-3

Just got to hold the Braves until Marcano and Reynolds are up again

Besides Duval, Quintana has pitched ok for being under the weather.

It's the old "take 'em out when their going good and leave 'em in when they're struggling" philosophy. Shelton consistently defies logic.

Crowe back to his usual dominating self, 2 good innings to keep it close.

Here's the chance we've been waiting for, Marcano and Reynolds, but Minter coming in, he's tough

Reynolds one out single, time for Hayes to make a mark

Reynolds picked off, but no big deal, Vogelbach looked clueless against Minter anyhow. Maybe he'll see Jansen in the ninth, and can tie it up then

They should have offered that burger to Vogelbach so he could sit on the bench and add to his calorie count. That way we are relieved of watching him wave at pitches 2 feet out of the strike zone

Come on. White guys don’t know how to stutter step. Maybe he could have done the Floss after crossing home plate. Now that would have been funny.
