just saw replay of Cruz homer. What a shot.

I remember Omar Moreno (of all people) hitting a line drive homer in Philly that got out of the ball park like this one. Must have been the hardest ball he ever hit.

Seeing the video scoreboard of other games reminds me of a major bitch I have with the Pirates at PNC.

The scoreboard on the Clemente wall always had the other scores, you could follow the outs and men on base.

Now, they flash the scoreboard briefly between innings, the rest of the time they run ads. It's at the top of my list when they ask about "fan experience" for next season.

Second is I want them to offer Doc to be in costume for a pierogie race

Right on cue, Brown mentions it's been 13 years since the Pirates went a full game without striking out an opponent, and Nelson Cruz whiffs on the next pitch for a K.

Reynolds and Hayes make the first outs in the 8th. They are a combined 0-8

Vogelbach with, yes I'm typing this correctly, an infield hit....second baseman had to dive for it but lost the handle trying to throw

I agree, not having that scoreboard on all the time is really disappointing but, with Nutting, it’s no surprise.  He’s determined to make money in every way possible.

I’ll become the Queen of England before I’ll put on one of those stupid suits.  When I take over, the abomination that is the pierrogi’s will end immediately.
