Hayes flies out to right......if he had done that in the first inning, we'd be looking at the a tie game

let's not forget Stratton giving up a run after getting the first two outs of the inning, just like when Thompson gave up the 3 run HR

so many things that cost this game

A lot of ifs in this one. When it was 8-0 it was hard to believe
there would be any ifs at all.

No games for me. Have a graduation party today for my niece, a karate tournament Saturday for my son. I exchanged my Sunday tickets for next Wednesday to play catch on the field after the game.

In my stead, my nephew is going Saturday. My Friday tickets I exchanged for another Red Sox game.
