Oh wait, we are allowed to criticize Reynolds in here, right? Absolutely stupid to try and dive for that ball. Two outs, nobody on, you don't risk turning a bloop single into a freaking inside the park home run

Well, new guy gives up a single to tie the game to center, and guess where Cruz threw the ball?
Wasn’t there a lot said by the Pirates after Thursday’s loss about Cruz’s mistake, and how he’ll learn from it, and blah, blah, blah? Then we have it happen the same way again two days later. I said last year: he’s this team’s version of Gregory Polanco. He’s a lunkhead who doesn’t have a clue as to what’s going on.

Hayes and Triolo follow with a couple of routine ground outs.
Why do I have a sense of dread? Let's see now....our left fielder, facing a right handed pitcher, can't move a guy up when there are not outs. Our right fielder dives for a ball he has no business diving after, allows a double to happen, and the game gets tied. Our centerfielder, on the single that ties the game, let the potential go ahead run reach second by missing the cutoff man.
The Marlins? Their right fielder throws out Frazier last night trying to turn a single into a double. Their left fielder times a jump perfectly and robs a HR.
It's obvious, our outfield has a lot to be desired. Cruz and Reynolds are going to have to hit well above the line to make up for poor defensive play.

That is Suwinski in right field and not Reynolds. Reynolds is DH today.

Well, he was mad at himself, if that helps

See? I told you we arent' allowed to criticize Reynolds!!!!
But honestly if it was Clemente, I'd be upset with that.
Santana an easy 1-2-3 inning.
