Gonzales grounds out on a nice play by Ramirez
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
I think it's a knock on pretty much the organization and Shelton.Wildwoodcoach wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 6:35 pmI heard that also- I think it could be a knock on Cruz
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Tellez looks at strike three up in the zone, right over the middle of the plate looking.
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Cobb perfect through 5 as Ramirez once again make a nice play on a BDLC grounder.
The closest the Pirates have come to reaching base are some 3-2 counts. Gonzales should have been called out on strikes, but got a gift ball call, and then it went 3-2 so if he had walked, and that's the only base runner all day, it would be a shame.
But screw them, they're not the Pirates, and I want the Bucs to stop the bleeding and score a ton of runs, and spoil everyone's day there in Cleveland

Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Keller starts the 5th with a strike out.
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Follows that with a strike out of Ramirez, who was fooled so bad he lost his bat into the seats
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Naylor singles. Keller still can't get them in order. It's like two different Kellers out there, he's absolutely schooling them one batter, serving up batting practice the next
Re: Official Game Thread - 9/1 - Bucs @ Guardians
Strikes out Noel. Unreal how he's been pitching today.
Unless he falls completely apart, or Shelty Shelton's him, he should easily go 6 and maybe 7.
Okay, time to break up the perfect game, the no hitter, the shutout, the deficit all in one big inning.
I'm calling a Henry Davis HR this inning.
