Bucs cut the lead in half but miss a chance with the bases loaded to add more. 4-2 Rays after four.

Ortiz responds to his teammates cutting the Rays lead in half by giving up three more runs. And the Rays still aren’t done in the 6th.

Ortiz’s line looks pretty bad, to be kind: six runs (all earned) on 10 hits over four innings.

I’ve decided to give this game the same amount of interest that the Pirates, including the manager and whoever makes out the line-up, are giving it. I’m done for the evening.
