Vierling with a solo HR makes it 5-2 Pirates through six. Skenes a few pitches short of 100. I’m guessing he’s done for the day.

I was trying to keep track of the foul balls hit off of Skenes. There were 29 in total, 18 of them coming with two strikes on the batters. That’s a lot of extra pitches. Not sure how he can try to minimize that going forward.
